Church Planting

Home · Church Planting
We believe that local churches exist to glorify God through fulfilling the Great Commission. Matthew 28:19-20
These convictions guide us as we seek to build the church:
  • Healthy things multiply. 2 Timothy 2:2
  • A generous spirit leads to multiplied opportunity. Ecclesiastes 11:1
  • Building strong leaders requires enduring commitments. Proverbs 27:17
  • Smaller churches can have significant, eternal impact. Zechariah 4:8-10
We are committed to the planting and equipping of reproducing Harvest Bible Chapels, built upon these four pillars:
  • Proclaiming the authority of God’s Word without apology. 2 Timothy 4:2
  • Lifting high the name of Jesus through worship. John 4:24
  • Believing firmly in the power of prayer. Ephesians 6:18
  • Sharing the good news of Jesus with boldness. Ephesians 6:19-20
OUR APPROACH
We establish churches where God is visibly at work, by planting new Harvests and transitioning existing churches into Harvest Bible Chapels.
For detailed information, see our Church Planting FAQs and Church Transitioning FAQs.

OUR GROWTH
Since 2000, God has multiplied His blessings through the Fellowship into 48 Harvest Bible Chapel locations.
  • In 2008, 12 new Harvest Bible Chapels were either planted or transitioned in North America, Romania, the Caribbean, and Liberia. Annual Report 2008
  • In 2009, 10 new Harvests were launched in North America, Scotland, Liberia, and Romania.
  • In 2010, another 15 church-planting and transitioning opportunities are on the horizon.
