Prior to knowing the Lord, Jim served as an aviator electrician in both the Navy and as a civilian; then as a correctional officer. Living in the darkness of worldly influences and values, and grieving his mother's death, he responded to his father's repeated invitations to attend church and found life-changing redemption in Jesus Christ.
While serving in that same Illinois church as youth pastor, Jim was called to vocational ministry and graduated from Lincoln Christian College and Seminary. After taking its pulpit, he has led the transition of Faith Christian Church into Harvest Bible Chapel Woodhull.
Jim and his wife Paula are raising their son, Noah, and daughter, Breck, in the joy and knowledge of the Lord. They could not be more excited about seeing the life transformation that they have personally experienced in Christ replicated in and through the lives of others.
